A basic CPR/ First Aid certification must be current by the end of this program. The PADI EFR (Primary and Secondary care) fulfills this requirement and may be taken concurrently with the Rescue Diver Program. The minimum age to take the Rescue Program is 12 years of age.

The tuition for the PADI Rescue Diver is  $599. This includes the PADI Rescue Dive E-Learning Program, certification cards and processing, instructor training and mentoring during the 10 Rescue Training Exercises and 2 Open Water Rescue Scenarios. Primary rescue gear such as stretchers, oxygen, first aid kits are also provided. It is recommended that students have their own pocket mask for the simulated CPR related rescue breathing exercises.
