The PADI Open Water Diver Training Program consists of 3 parts:
- An Academic Portion covered through e-learning coupled with ongoing personal discussion & learning during Orientation and Confined Water(pool) Scuba Skill Sessions. There are standardly (3) sessions. Students must be at least ten(10) years of age to begin Open Water Training.
The pool skills development training takes place during each of the pool sessions of your class. You will be taught about the equipment set-up and breakdown. In addition, be in the pool learning hands on all the Confined Water Skills required to become a PADI Certified Open Water Scuba Diver. Our focus is on you learning how to dive safely so you can launch into a world of new adventures! - We provide the use of all the scuba equipment you’ll require during training except for a few personal items. These are simply a mask, snorkel and fins. So, the e-learning, orientation and three(3) pool sessions are all included in these two(2) portions of the PADI Open Water Certification. The cost of these (2) portions is $599.00/person. Standardly the training group consists of six(6) students. If you have your own pool and would like to do your training individually we will come to you and the cost would be $599/ person.
- The final stage of your PADI Open Water Certification consists of four(4) Open Water Dives. Open Water Dives can be performed literally anywhere in the world. Whether it be in a quarry, a lake, or an Ocean. These dives are standard $50.00/dive. However, the cost may vary depending on if you’re joining us on a Group Trip to Florida, The Bahamas, etc.
When you’re ready to purchase your own Scuba Gear your PADI Instructor will be there to help advise you thru every step of the process.
