Certification Requirements

Prerequisites
- PADI Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification)
- Emergency First Response® Primary and Secondary Care training within the past 24 months
- Minimum of 40 logged dives
- Age 18 or older (15 for Junior Divemaster)
- Medical clearance from a physician within the past 12 months
Course Structure
Students completing the program for Divemaster follow a mix of eLearning and in-water training:
- PADI eLearning: 10–16 hours (excluding Dive Theory eLearning)
- Practical Skills & Leadership Work: Conducted in confined water and open water
- Timeline: Varies based on student schedule and comfort level
This combination allows students to learn at home, practice in the water, and grow into confident leaders at their own pace.
